Welcome to TTC World of Warcraft!
TTC WoW consists of two World of Warcraft guilds which are each subdivisions of the gaming clan The Terminal Clan. TTC has been around since 1996 and has been involved in a vast number of games spanning all genres. If you're interested in more of what the clan history is all about, or more detailed information on either of the guilds, please ask one of the people listed below they'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

As most of you are already aware, the ventrilo server is presently non-functional. This is due to a major explosion in the Dallas, TX data center where our ventrilo service is hosted out of. This explosion took place at around 4:45pm yesterday knocking down 3 walls and having some pretty serious impact on things and they have been working on it ever since and as of the time I'm typing this have just restored power to the facility where things are hosted.
I have been assured that they are doing everything they can right now to make sure things are back up and running as soon as possible and expect that they will be by mid-late afternoon today.
That's all the information I have for now, hope to catch you on vent in a few.
There was a small bug with registration where the security graphic was not displaying correctly allowing various spam accounts to register. This has been resolved.
Several people have complained about not being able to receive activation e-mails from the site for a little while now. I've been working hard to find out the cause of this problem and get it resolved. As it turns out I have "finally" found the cause and it's due to ISP block lists at a couple of key hubs on the net. I'm in the process of getting this taken care of right away and expect only another day or two of this situation continuing while they get the removals taken care of.
Excellent job last night finishing out our first 100% completion of Karazhan. This is the first time that we've taken out "EVERY" boss in KZ on this server.
This accomplishment definitely helps to pave the way to bigger and better things. We'll be looking to start the 2nd KZ group up with in the week and once that's running acceptably, we'll start exploring the move into GL and SSC and we might even give ZA a shot here and there.
The journey is long from over as there is much more for everyone to do. Everyone needs to continue to work on gear improvement and attempt to get their mains geared out as much as possible BEFORE getting into KZ. This simple task allows us to clear it faster and easier with every piece of gear you upgrade.
Continue to work on this like you have and we'll be in BT and HJ in no time! Great job again guys, keep up the awesomeness!
Just a quick preemptive update for everyone. TTC Phoenix on Stormreaver will be having a guild meeting next week at some point. Please keep an eye out in GEM (Guild Event Manager) for the date and time. We'll go over various information on the guild and answer questions and concerns that anyone has. In addition we'll be giving an overview of exactly where the guild is headed directionally and goals we have in mind for the near and far.
Things to note immediately is that following this meeting, guild members will need to make sure to have operational the required add-ons in order to attend raids and we will move in the direction of requiring applications for guild membership.
Lastly, congratulations to everyone for an exquisite couple of KZ runs the past week. Clearing the instance and Illhoof (optional) last week and so far this week we're on track to take them all out again including more optionals!
I wanted to post a quick note and say that everyone did a 'great' job in KZ the last 2 days. We're past Curator which is awesome! And a huge thank you to the couple of extra people who gladly tagged along to help us out, it was very much appreciated.
In full, I think we do have a little bit of work to do in terms of making sure people continue to work on better gear (it will make KZ easier the better your gear is going into it), and though we did have a few icky spots in the raid which caused a couple un-needed wipes I do expect this to smooth out with the next raid.
MOST IMPORTANTLY everyone needs to make sure that they either have the mod pack (located in the announcements forum) installed or get the individual add-ons (Omen or KTM, CT_RA/BossMods or Deadly Boss Mods, Guild Event Manager and PopGMOTD) and Ventrilo. The upcoming guild raids WILL be scheduled and signed up for using GEM; those raids will start showing up on the GEM schedule this upcoming week.
Again, GREAT job! Keep it up and we'll be rocking through KZ, GL and Mag in no time!
